Wilma L. Jaworski

October 23, 1948 — March 5, 2022

Wilma L. Jaworski

I burst onto this big beautiful blue planet on Saturday, October 23rd, 1948. Born via midwife in Leisenring, Pennsylvania, I was the 10th and final child of Elizabeth and Joseph Senock. Crying loudly, I took my place among my siblings as the sister of Earl, Eugene, Johnny, Bobby, Eva, Honey, Agnes, Tootsie, and Patty. To be honest, I was really fortunate that I made it to Earth in the first place. You see, my very virile Father married twice and fathered 17 children in total. In fact, "Good Ole Dad" was a very young 62 when my egg won a fertilization contest sometime in the early months of 1948.

A two-bedroom house in rural Pennsylvania provided the backdrop for most of my childhood which was spent finding my place amongst my huge family. My Dad departed this world in February 1956 when I was 7 years old. Ultimately, his departure initiated my family's 1958 move to New York City where I was fortunate enough to attend the Convent of the Sacred Heart Academy from 6th through 12th grade. 1967 brought me a final move, this time to Cleveland, Ohio, the city where I would live out my life.

I adjusted to Cleveland quickly and found love & engagement waiting for me. They passed me off to their friend Marriage who greeted me for the first time at Blessed Sacrament Church on September 16, 1968, when I became Mrs. Wilma Schueneman. My first child, Ronald Schueneman happily found his way into my life on October 26, 1969.

Unfortunately, I also found divorce in my life, too. Well, maybe, I found her a little too much. I was married and divorced five times during my life with my last marriage to Mr. Robert Jaworski in 1977. My last marriage also brought me three more children. Robert M. Jaworski, Jr. was born on May 5, 1978, Mary L. Jaworski on July 20, 1979, and Jessica R. Jaworski on November 3, 1980. In April 2007, I adopted my grandchildren, Cassidy E. Jaworski and Logan M. Jaworski.

The title of grandmother was not limited to Cassidy and Logan, for I was also honored to call myself grandmother to Amanda Schueneman, Alexandra Schueneman, Aaron Schueneman, Autumn Boothe, Annie Becker, Chloe Jaworski, and Fionna Jaworski. I was a great grandmother to Shawn Rose and Blake Rose.

I worked as a Home Health Aide and House Manager for MRDD Individuals from 1996 to 2011 when I was forced to retire due to a Dementia Diagnosis. I lived a great life, and I had a wonderful family. No mother could ever ask for more love and understanding from her family and friends. I'm sorry I had to leave you, but I loved every minute I spent with you. I love you all & I will see you soon.
