William "Bill" John Uniack

WILLIAM "BILL" JOHN UNIACK age 100 of Parma. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Ann Uniack (nee Sawitzke) for 64 years. Loving father of William T. Uniack, Robert L. Uniack (Kathryn), and Jean A. Bruno (Galen); dear grandfather of Jessica J. Rote (Kurt), Colleen E. Leonardo (Joey), William T. Uniack, Jr. and Robert L. Uniack; caring great-grandfather of Juliette, Elle and Isla Rote; Viviana, Eva and Isabella Leonardo and Victoria Uniack; loyal son of the late William E. and the late Lucille K. (nee Rich); uncle and friend to many. William was a 1940 graduate of Holy Name High School and was a US Army Veteran serving in World War II, participating in the D-Day Invasion under General Patton in the 324 Field Artillery, 83rd Infantry Division. He was a retired Sergeant of the Cleveland Police and after retiring pursued a career as an insurance investigator.
