William John Griffore

William J. Griffore, 84, was born May 24, 1937, and passed away April 30, 2022. William was a 1955 graduate of Brookside High School. He worked at Gangs Food Fair, Goodman Beverage, and retired after 33 years from Century Telephone. He worked over 15 years for Walmart assembling bicycles in his retirement. In his spare time William enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mowing his lawn. 

William is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Angie (nee Diaz); his children, Reyne' Gibson (Mackie), of Elyria, Jason (Mary), of Sheffield Lake, and Jeremy (Sarah) of North Ridgeville; brothers, Gary (Carol) of Vermilion, Donald (Susan) of North Carolina, and Dale (Terri) of North Ridgeville. He was the proud grandfather of 13, and great-grandfather of 9.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Marita (nee Ferner); his sister, Karen Scott; and brother Russell Griffore; and his devoted dog Red.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
