Vincent Carollo, 90, of Avon Lake, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022. He was born January 13, 1932, to parents Vincenzo and Josephine (nee Spalla) Carollo in Cleveland, OH.
Vincent was a U.S. Army veteran that served in the Korean war. He was an outstanding athlete at West High School where he was known as "Choo-Choo Carollo". He was a skilled electrician and worked on every skyscraper in Cleveland as a member of the IBEW Local #38. He was an avid reader and enjoyed learning. A lover of nature, he enjoyed time in the mountains and spending time at Lake Erie. Vincent was truly a genuine person that always had a positive outlook on life. He had many lifelong relationships with childhood friends, and he continued to honor his late wife every day of his life. He will be missed by those that knew and loved him as he was very devoted to his children, grandchildren, brother and sister, and nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his loving children Debbie Waller, John Carollo, Chris Carollo and Patti Noll (Ken); cherished grandchildren Sean, Jim, Paul, Brian, Cassie, Nick, Christy, Brett, Brandon, Cody, Jessa and Shannon; numerous great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan Carollo; parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
