Stanley R. Lavigne

Stanley R. Lavigne, age 93 of North Royalton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Mizarek) for 69 years; loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bertha Lavigne (nee Tivage) and his sister, Lavonne Padden (William, deceased).

Stanley was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He retired as a quality engineer for over 25 years from Parker Hannifin, highly respected by those he supervised. Stanley was a true handyman who took great pride in helping family with home improvement projects. His meticulous care of his cars left a collection to be admired. Stanley was a member of the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Squire Association. He was an avid golfer and actually made golf clubs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Travis Mills Foundation, 647 Castle Island Road, Mt. Vernon, ME 04352.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at St. Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133. Prayers at 10:30am at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129 with procession to church. Entombment with Army Honors at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, OH. Family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the funeral home.
