Robert G. Taylor

Robert (Bob) Gayle Taylor, 81, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Bob was born on August 16, 1940 to the late Gayle and Inez Taylor in Evansville, Indiana. Bob married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Margaret (Margo) Ann Pascoe, on December 10, 1960. They had just celebrated 61 years together.

Bob is survived by his wife, three children, Kris Fyffe (Dennis) of Bay Village, Ohio, Kathy Mack (Richard) of Avon Lake, Ohio and Julie Jackson (Gary) of Medina, Ohio. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren, Walker Mack (Dawn) of Libertyville, Illinois, Samantha Hunter of Indianapolis, Indiana, Joshua Cowling (Alyssa) of Sheffield Lake, Kaitlin Mack (Connor) of Cuyahoga Falls, Becca Sabol (Daniel) of Winston-Salem, NC, Taylor Mack (Brenna) of Denver, CO, Ian Mack of Raleigh, NC, Alexandra Fyffe of Alexandria, VA, Maggie Jackson of Medina, seven great grandchildren and his sister, Judy Hubregs (William) of Mansfield, Texas.

In 1963, Bob graduated from Purdue University in Civil Engineering and had a successful career in Construction management with Alcoa. During these 36 years, Bob, Margo and their daughters had the opportunity to live in many U.S. cities as well as Australia and Brazil.

As a faithful follower of Jesus, Bob was an active member of Providence Church in Avon, OH. Bob loved to greet, teach Sunday school, and was involved in the construction of the church building. He also loved to study the Word of God and participated in Bible Study Fellowship for many years.

Bob loved his family and was relaxed and happiest vacationing with them and close friends at the beach. He loved sports including tennis, golf, and cheering on his Purdue Boilermakers and Cleveland Indians.

A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at Providence Church on Saturday, March 5th, at 10:30 AM. As this is a celebration, the family requests that you wear bright colors and business casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Providence Church which will be used for the future expansion of the church building.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 ESV 440.933.3202
