Raymond Storey

Raymond Thomas Storey, born in Cleveland, Ohio. Ray, a Korean War Veteran, was a loving husband to Ann Glauner (deceased), father to Lisa Murphy (Bob), Dallas Storey (deceased), Megian Nakamura (Derek) and Ann Marie Marquez (Abraham). He was a loving grandfather to Colin (Tim), Ryan, Megan, Eamon, Rachel, Jason, David, Megian, Jackie, Diego, Alea and Kai.

Ray loved life, enjoyed good food and a great martini. He was a member of the Union Speaking Club and the Northern Ohio Opera League. An avid reader, Ray loved to travel and explore new adventures. He was a great cook, gardener and was so very proud of his home. He could tackle any task needed to accentuate the wonderful curb appeal of his home, stopping passerbys to get a better look.

After his retirement from a 30 year career teaching math and science at North Royalton Middle School, Ray became a lecturer at the NASA Space Center in Cleveland and loved meeting visitors from all over, as well as several renown astronauts. He loved talking to people and was well versed in politics, current affairs and social happenings, particularly in his beloved city of Cleveland. He will be dearly missed.

Services will include a wake, Sunday, January 8th from 3pm-7pm at Babitt-Busch Funeral Home, 9350 Ridge Road, North Royalton, Ohio 44133. The funeral mass is scheduled, Monday, January 9th, 10am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 1088 Ridge Road, Hinckley, Ohio 44233. Please gather directly at church. He will be buried along side his loving wife at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
