Nathaniel Dorsey Jr, age 79, passed away on June 14th, 2022. Nathaniel was born to the late Velma Lee Hall and Nathaniel Dorsey Sr on September 11th, 1942. Nathaniel loved to be a part of nature, he always enjoyed fishing or going on road trips with his family. Nathaniel always brought people together, he loved spending time with his family and enjoying his cheerful belly laugh that brought a smile to everyone around. Nathaniel's favorite thing to do was to be around his family, he loved his family more than anything. He will be greatly missed by his family, but will never be forgotten by the many family members he loved so dearly loved.
Nathaniel is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Rosemary Dorsey; son, Eric Dorsey; daughters, Loretta Smith and Kristine Yarian; brother, Jake Hall; sister, Mary Frances Barnett; uncle and best friend, Parker Ashe; aunt, Bessie Dorsey; sister in law, Michelle - who wants everyone to know "He was my bestest buddy in the whole world."; grandchildren, Kina, Kinnard, Tisha, Britt, Marqueze, Justus, Kinnard, Kintavis, Zion, Kinnard Keymary, A'lice, Aubre, Malachi, Isiah, Marjay, Malayah, Marquez Jr, Marquese, Kiana, Zyquez, Erica, Solomon, Bryant, Jayden, Alyssa, Nisha, Quaski, Sirome, Faith, Serenity, Arielle, C.J., Kinsleigh, Bella, Caron, Austin, Trenton, Peyton, Harmony, Kylie, Nik, Logan, Marley, Austen, Braedy, C.J., Addy, Ethan and Nate - who was proudly named after Nathaniel; godchildren, Jen, Nathaniel, Tonee, Amber Rose, Boo and Peach; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and "Pops" to many.
Nathaniel is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Mary Alice White, Aretha Dorsey Dillard, Kathi Mancuso; brothers, James "Nab" Asberry, Yancey "Bubba" Banks, Roy Hall and Jerome "Ollie" Hall.
