Nancy A. Dever

Nancy A. Dever was born on February 25, 1935 to her loving parents, William and Ruth (nee Hancock) Barr in Elyria, Ohio. She passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

Nancy was a secretary at Goodrich when she met her beloved William; they were married on December 10, 1955 and enjoyed 66 years together before his passing in 2021. Nancy stopped working when she and Bill expanded their family and she became a full-time mom. Once their younger son was in school she began working for the Avon City Schools. Nancy began part-time as a librarian, and eventually went on to be the full-time secretary at Avon High School.

Nancy is survived by her two sons, Raymond and Jeffrey Dever. She was preceded in death by her husband William and her parents.
