Millard Stepp

Millard Anthony Stepp, 67, of Elyria, formerly of Chicago, IL from 1961-2019; passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Millard was born October 23, 1955, to Anthony and Fanny Mae (nee Mann) Stepp in Williamson, WV.

Millard is a graduate from Kelvyn Park High School in Chicago, IL. Later he worked as a rigger for McCormick Place Expo in Chicago for over 20 years. There he was a member of the Union Local # 136. After moving to Elyria, he worked in maintenance at Walmart Chestnut Commons.

Millard enjoyed fishing, doing yardwork, caring for animals, and working on model cars. He found joy in listening to music and experiencing artwork. Most of all, he loved joking around with those around him.

Loving father of Christopher Stepp of IL and Kathryn Stepp (John Mullins) of Elyria; grandfather of Dylan Mullins; son of Fanny Mae Stepp; brother of Darryle Stepp (Darlene) of TN; boyfriend of Janice Crask of Elyria; uncle of one niece and one nephew; and former husband of Annette Herzberg (James Inzinga) of IL.

Preceded in death by his father, Anthony Stepp, Jr.

Family will receive friends Friday, December 9, 2022, from 3-7pm at Busch Funeral Homes, 114 Second St., Elyria, with funeral service to follow at 7pm. Reverend Jeni Francis to officiate.
