Meera.. what a lively soul! Her ability to brighten up wherever she went was second to none, perhaps topped only by her warmth, love and affection to whomever she met - young and old alike.

These qualities were amply evident when she helped form Cleveland's Bharati Cultural Society more than 40 yrs ago. Her enthusiasm & dedication to help & bring our community together is clearly one of many highlights. Who can forget her love of music - be it during St. Thayagaraja Festivals or film music - the encyclopedia that she was in remembering all the ragas, compositions, and most of all her joyful singing at the drop of a hat!

As if this was not enough, her love for cooking & feeding sumptuous food for all occasions at her home & cultural events ... all with her infectious smile can ever be forgotten!

Upon reflection, there was never any "Me" in Meera... it was always "us". I'm sure she's spreading the same joy, happiness & laughter in her new home. Perhaps that's what God wanted & missed too!

Thanks for leaving a little of you in so many of us... you'll always be with us.
