Mary Lou "Ge" Jones

MARY LOU "GE" JONES (nee Byers), age 88 of Westlake. Cherished mother of Leslie Jones, Amy Jones and Donald "Scott" Jones; loving grandmother of Joshua Jones (Jackie) and Alexandria Pfeil (Josh); great-grandmother of Judah Pfeil; dear sister of the following deceased: Claudette Kuisel and James Byers; aunt and friend of many. Mary Lou was the past president of the Ohio League of Women Voters. Mary Lou graduated from Wayne State University majoring in education and music. She played harp and piano in the Wayne State University orchestra. She was the Parks and

Recreation commissioner for West Bloomfield Township, MI. She taught primary school and was also a licensed real estate agent. She reported for The Spinal Column Newspaper (MI) and co-founded the Jones-Hirsch Public Relations Co. She was the Cuyahoga county and State of Ohio President of the League of Women voters. 

In addition to all of her professional accomplishments, Mary Lou was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was the planner and host of all holidays and gatherings. She went above and beyond to love, encourage and support her family. 
Passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Memorial gathering at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE ROAD, PARMA FROM 3:00 PM-7:00 PM, Monday, August 22, 2022.
