Marlene J. Bunt

Marlene J. Bunt, 89, of North Royalton, OH passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 12, 2022, with her loving husband of 50 years by her side, Edward J. Bunt. Marlene, sister to Roger F. Holt, was born to Florence and Wilfred Holt on April 29, 1932, in Cleveland, OH.

Marlene is survived by her husband, Edward J. Bunt, son, David (Luann) Carucci, and daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Chronister, as well as her four granddaughters: Claire, Angela, Madeline, and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Holt, mother, Florence Holt, brother, Roger Holt, and son, Michael E. Bunt. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Clancy.

As a young woman, Marlene was an ardent horsewoman, raising and showing her pinto and quarter horses. Later in life, Marlene's passion for animals, particularly dogs, remained unbroken. Over the years, she and Edward owned 15 dogs, and she contributed to several local and national animal rescue shelters.

Marlene also loved to travel with her husband and friends and play the slot machines with her sisters-in-law. She and Edward had the opportunity to travel throughout the continuous United States as well as Hawaii and Alaska. Marlene touched the heart of those who met her, and she always had a kind word for all. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed by her husband, family, and friends.

Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129. Private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, OH.
