Marcia Thomson

Marcia A. Thomson (nee Shebek) age 66, of Sheffield Village, passed away Saturday, December24, 2022 at UH Elyria Medical Center after a short illness. She was born in Elyria, Ohio on December 1, 1956. Marcia graduated from Elyria High School, Class of 1975.

Marcia was employed as a Patient Care Assistant for several years, then worked at Moen Incorporated in Elyria. In 1996, She started working at USG Interiors in Westlake, retiring Dec 31, 2021. She enjoyed reading, caring for her cats, spending time with family and supporting her son and grandchildren in their sporting events.

Marcia is survived by her loving and devoted partner, Neil G. Creswell of Sheffield Village; her son, Dustin J. Lamvermeyer (wife, Amy) of Riverview, FL; her mother, Joan R. Kleinholz (step-father, Robert Kleinholz) of Huron, OH; a sister, Deborah L. Yancer of Sheffield Village; grandchildren Derek and Rose Lamvermeyer; nephew, Ryan P. Wirth; Great niece and nephew, Chloe and Jeffery Wirth. She was preceded in death by her father, James F. Shebek, a sister, Pamela Jo Shebek; paternal grandparents, James and Jane Shebek and maternal grandmother, Doris L. Barbknecht.

Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 114 Second Street, Elyria from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Thursday, December 29, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home on Thursday. Rev Kathy Ketchum will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township, OH.
