LaVerne Lentz

LaVerne E. Lentz was born in Cleveland on July 5, 1927 to Andrew and Stella Duch. She died on May 14, 2022 and is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth E. Lentz, her stepdaughters Kathryn Nolan and Mary Crist (William), brother-in-law Walter Portman, niece, nephews and extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her brother Andrew Duch, sister Carol Portmann and stepson Stephen Lentz. She graduated from Ursuline College in medical technology and retired from the Louis Stokes VA Hospital in Cleveland. Verne was an avid bridge player and loved to travel the world with her husband. Other interests include photography, cooking, reading, and sewing.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Road, Parma on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:30am.
