Kevin A. Minnich, 59, of Avon, passed away of natural causes at his home on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Kevin was born to loving parents Allen and Patricia (nee Mantin) Minnich on July 12, 1962, in Lorain, Ohio.
Kevin graduated from Avon Lake High School in 1980. He was employed for 41 years in the construction business, having worked for Cleveland Construction, Coastal Quality Construction and was recently a member of Local 435 in Cleveland. He was a true perfectionist at his craft.
Kevin was a long-time member of the Ashtabula Beagle and Hunt Club, the Young Men's Social Club of Ashtabula and, also, the Moose Club of Alexandria, New York.
Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a great cook and, especially loved spending time with his family. He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and NASCAR fan.
Kevin will always be remembered as someone with a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of his back.
Beloved son of Patricia; loving brother of Laura Knapp (John) of Avon, Jeff Minnich of Ashtabula, and Susan Stockard (Edward) of Huron; stepfather of Dave Wysong and Tina Kaydo (Rick); beloved uncle of Jill, Meghan, Matt, Julie, Andrew, Rachel, Alison, Chris, Madisen and Nolan; great-uncle of Cooper, Baylor, Patrick, Olivia, Keeley; and step-grandfather of Ricky Jr and Isahia.
Preceded in death by his father, Allen Minnich; first wife Tonya Minnich and former wife Bonnie Minnich.
