Kelly Jean Matsko

Kelly Jean Matsko (nee Burgess), 52, of Avon, passed away, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 with husband Kenneth Matsko at her side, following a vibrant and meaningful life. She was born March 4, 1969, and raised in Avon. She lived for many years in Northern Virginia where she and Kenny began their life together, before moving to Avon in 1999.

Kelly is the beloved mother of two children. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially in the summer when she could lay out in the sun. She acted as hostess to countless gatherings, always welcoming newcomers into the fun with her bright smile and infectious laugh. Our wish for Kelly is that Heaven looks a lot like Monaco.

Left to cherish Kelly's memory are her husband of over 27 years, Kenneth Matsko; children Austin and Katie Matsko; brother, Scott (Mary Beth) Burgess; sister Sherri (Jim) Carney; sister Terri (Vasile) Sandu; beloved in-laws; 11 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews; and many special friends who love her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Kathryn Burgess.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made in Kelly's name to the Hospice of the Western Reserve at University Hospitals, 4510 Richmond Rd., Warrensville Heights, OH 44128.

Friends will be received at the Avon Isle, 37080 Detroit Rd., Avon on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 3-8 p.m., with a service at 6p.m. Interment will be private.

The Busch Funeral and Crematory Services Home is honored to serve the Matsko family and has made available for the community's convenience an online register book as well as additional information to help facilitate expressions of compassion.
