Katherine Oster

Katherine Louise Oster (nee Gottlieb), 71 of Avon Lake, formerly of North Olmsted peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 21, 2022. She was born January 22, 1951 to parents Donald and Mary (nee Schmidt) Gottlieb in Lakewood, OH.

Katherine was employed as a Banker for Key Bank for 34 years. She enjoyed visiting Key Harbor Marina. Most days she could be found cooking, baking, quilting, sewing, and boating; but she found true joy helping to raise her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Robert R. Oster; loving children James Matthew Janota (Lisa), Stephanie Lee (Joshua) and Matthew Oster (Nancy); 5 cherished grandchildren; dear siblings Earl Gottlieb, Donald Gottlieb, William Gottlieb, James Gottlieb, Thomas Gottlieb, and Chris Steuhr.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents Donald and Mary Gottlieb, brother Earl Gottlieb and her stepson Scott Oster.
