Judith Elaine Bischof
January 21st, 1953- June 14th, 2022
Judith was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was born on January 21st, 1953, to Walter and Laverne Verbeck. She grew up with two brothers, in a house full of pranks and humor. She was a notorious olive thief, shamelessly stealing every olive she could from her brothers. She met her husband, Edward, in 1973, and after batting her pretty green eyes at him, he was hers. They married in 1974, and together they had three daughters. She instilled her love of early rock music into her children, often playing "Name that Tune" with them using her old 45 records. She shared a special bond with each child: she and Shannon loved logic problems, she and Jennifer loved musicals, and she and Leigh loved sewing and cross stitch. She always encouraged her husband and children to follow their passions, and was selfless in helping her family achieve their dreams. She was strong, smart, funny, an avid reader, and great story teller. Family gatherings were always full of stories of treasured memories and laughter. She shared her creative talents with her family and friends in simple ways, like mending and altering clothes, and in gifts of elaborate cross stitch artworks she spent years creating stitch by stitch.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Edward, brother Mark (Kathy), two daughters, Shannon (Eric), and Melissa Leigh, and three grandchildren, Charlie, Alexander, and Elizabeth.
She rejoins her parents, her brother David, and her daughter Jennifer in death.
