Jolita (Jolie) A. Santiago, 51, lifelong resident of Cleveland; passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 21, 2022. Jolie was born on July 8, 1971, to Jose A. and Alma J. (nee Shuck) Santiago in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jolie attended Southview High School in Lorain. She was a baptized member of the Catholic Church.
Jolie was known for her fiery attitude as well as her kind and generous heart. She had a creative spirit and spent much of her free time making decorative crafts and writing poetry and short stories. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, cooking delicious home cooked meals for her loved ones. Despite her many hobbies, she took most joy in being a mother to her two children, Bianca and Devion, as well as her five beloved cats. Jolie's kind heart and soul was a treasure to everyone around her, and she will truly be missed for years to come.
Those left to treasure Jolie's memory are her children Bianca Morales and Devion Morales; step-son Antonio Morales, Jr.; her brothers and sisters, Lisa (Jimmy) Soto, Mark (Flo) Shuck, Maria Pedraza, Jose Pedraza, Igna Pedraza, Luis Pedraza, Francis Santiago, Carmen Santiago, and Sandra Santiago; her father, Jose A. Santiago; her many beloved nieces and nephews; and Antonio Morales, the father of her daughter, who she still loved and cared for deeply.
Jolie is preceded in death by her mother Alma, brother Gregory M. Shuck, Sr., brother Jose "Cheo" Santiago, brother Ernie Santiago, and Uncle Jack "Jon" Wong.
Memorial contributions may be forwarded in Jolita's name to the Cleveland APL, 1729 Willey Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113.
Family will receive guests for a visitation on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 5pm-7pm at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma. Closing prayers will be offered at 7pm by Father Doug Brown of Mary Queen of Peace Church.
