John J Gallagher, age 82, of Wadsworth, died December 30, 2022, at his home with his beloved wife and best friend at his side. He was born in Roslindale, MA on June 1, 1940, to John and Mary Gallagher (nee Rafferty). His family moved to Cuyahoga Falls when he was child. He graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School in 1958 and started college at John Carroll University. He went on to St. Edward University, Austin, TX where he graduated in 1964. In his early career he worked for Honeywell Corp and then founded Comfort Mechanical Heating and Cooling.
He was a devoted catholic, loved reading, playing cards, traveling, and spending time with his lifelong friends, his ‘Hoban Guys’. His greatest joy is spending time with his family. He was interested and engaged in their lives and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Margi (nee Graf); his daughters Teri Douglas (Patrick) of Belgrade, MT, Ann Grass (Ryan) of Akron, OH and Tina Keinsley (Brad) of Ft. Wayne, IN; his grandchildren Katherine and Will Hess; Charlie and Andrew Douglas, Aidan, Emma and John Grass, Brooklynn Lander (Brayden) and Luke and Maggie Keinsley; his siblings Madeline Hebert (Lee) of Upper Arlington, OH and Paul Gallagher (Diane Evans) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth. www.buschcares.com
