Joan Kaminiecki-Gambert

Joan Elsie Kaminiecki-Gambert, 84, daughter of Henry and Pearl Yanish, passed away on September 30, 2021, at Southwest General Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio. She is survived by her loving children, Cheryl and husband (Frank) Staron and Brian Kaminiecki; grandchildren Dwayne and wife (Theresa), Nicholas, Christopher; great-grandchildren Anthony and Julissa; brother Roger Yanish. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Yanish, mother, Pearl Yanish, first husband, Joseph Kaminiecki, and second husband, Raymond Gambert.

Joan was very active in her church, Bennett's Corners UMC, as well as Stephen Ministries and Lion's Club. She was known to do anything and everything to help others and would often send cards to residents at nursing homes. She was an avid golfer, a talented artist, and enjoyed tennis, yardwork and flowers. A seamstress for 70 years (started at 14), Joan would sew bears for hospice and hospitals for hearts.

Friends may call at the BABITT-BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 9350 RIDGE ROAD, NORTH ROYALTON, OH 44133 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Friday, October 8th and 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 9. Interment at Hope Memorial Gardens.
