James Duncan

Dr. James R. Duncan, D.V.M. Age 89. Beloved husband of 66 years to Laurie (nee Uhinck). Dear father of Marc (DJ), Dr. James (Ellen), Matthew (Becky) and Beth Brown. Grandfather of Christopher, Jonathan, Ethan, James, Justin, Laura, Quinn and Elizabeth. Jim established and practiced veterinary medicine at Brookview Animal Hospital for 50 years before retiring in 2011. He was active at the Brooklyn YMCA, North Royalton YMCA, the Brooklyn Exchange Club, Kiwanis Club of Brooklyn, American Spaniel Club and the C.S.C.N.O. He judged cocker spaniels in the U.S. and Sweden. After retiring he and Laurie loved to travel. Passed away Thursday October 6, 2022. In lieu of flowers memorials may be forwarded to the North Royalton YMCA, 11409 State Road, North Royalton, OH 44133.
