Irene Margaret Lescinski (Noe)
August 11, 1926 - October 28, 2022
Irene Lescinski passed on October 28, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert Lescinski: loving mother of Sharon (William)Sellers and Robert (Kathy) Lescinski: loving grandmother of the late Robert Lescinski, Timothy (Hannah) Filiatreau, Carly (Joshua) Iacono and Vanessa Sellers: cherished sister of the late Andrew (Antoinette) Noe and the late Marylin (John) Drevenak. She was Aunt to Douglas (Sukee) Noe, Lisa Drevenak, Terryjane (Joseph) Mountcastle and Robert Drevenak.
Born in Cleveland, the family moved frequently. The Noe household was a well-known hotspot for get togethers during the prohibition because her father would make batches of beer. During these gatherings, her job was to pump the player piano. She attended Dawning, Denison, Benjamin Franklin and Lincoln. She worked for Ohio Bell, at Milford Elementary as a teacher's assistant and at May Company in multiple departments. She volunteered at the West Side Hunger Center, Estrabrook as a cook in a program for seniors and MetroHealth Medical Center making kits for the emergency room. She received awards from organizations such as the Hunger Network, Greater Cleveland Volunteers (RSVP), Metro Health. She loved being part of the Senior Olympics and achieved gold, silver, and bronze medals in various events.
Along with her late husband Robert, Irene loved to travel. The pair traveled with Senior Citizen Resources (SCR). For their 50th wedding anniversary they visited Alaska. With Robert at the wheel the family loved to go for rides never knowing where they would end up. Her favorite destination was a friend or family members' home, to enjoy their company along a good meal and a round of cards. She liked camping both in a tent and then later in life in an RV as she traveled with her daughter and son-in-law.
Irene lived an exciting, fun filled life. Not many moments of sadness. Take her example and live your life the same.
