Harold C. Burdett, Jr. (Bud), 75, of Richfield passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 25, 1947 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania the son of the late Harold Sr. and Arlene (nee Wolfe). He served his country in the Navy from 1966-1970. Bud was employed as a Crane Operator with LTV Steel for 25 years before retiring. He was a longtime member of Bethel Christian Church in Parma. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading history, and working crossword puzzles, but his greatest joy was being with his family who he loved deeply. Yet deeper still was his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who he now sees face-to-face.
Mr. Burdett is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy (nee Beaton); three daughters, Lisa Lang (Brian), Jodi Gentry, and Robyn Burdett; grandchildren, Tyler Gentry, Megan Gentry, Madelyn Lang, Karas Gentry and Nathaniel Lang; great granddaughter Ava Gentry; and a sister, Linda Courson (the late Eugene). In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Roger Burdett and a sister Carole Burdett.
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma from 4-8pm Friday June 3. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home, Saturday June 4 at 10:00am. Pastor Daniel Lund of Bethel Christian Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Brecksville Cemetery, Brecksville.
