Gertrude Mary Magdelana Delfs, 71, of Fairview Park, passed away peacefully, August, 19, 2022. She was born June 24, 1951, to her parents, Anton and Magdelina Offenberger in Linz, Austria.

Gerty graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1969. She worked until retirement as a Marketing and Commercial insurance broker. She was very active in the City of Fairview Park where she was a member of the Garden Club. She also enjoyed golf, travel, exploring and volunteering. She was a member of Westside CERT. Gerty's greatest joy came from her sons, she was at her best when they were around.

She leaves her two sons, William Jr., and Brian (Gretchen); her beloved sister, Theresa Offenberger; her cousins, Herbert and Joseph Pawlitsch; and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Turn. An adaptive recreation center that helps provide specialized instruction to help participants overcome physical challenges and improve their abilities both on and off the golf course. Contributions may be sent to, Wharton Center, One Golfview Lane, North Olmsted, OH 44070.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation for Gerty on Thursday, August 25, from 11am - 2pm, at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon, 44011. 440-937-6175
