On Friday June 10, 2022, Georgette Dragony-Morris passed away at the age of 92. Georgette was born in Cleveland Ohio in 1929. She grew up in the Hungarian area around Buckeye Road. As a young woman she worked at the Frances Frock dress shop.
Georgette met Louis Dragony at a Euclid Beach dance. They were married in 1951 and were blessed with four children, Louis, David, Barbara and Mary. They moved to South Euclid and then Lyndhurst as the family grew. Georgette loved to feed the local wildlife, had a passion for raising her four children and cooking Hungarian dishes and pastry. Georgette was known for her quick wit and infectious smile. Georgette also loved music, dancing, and an occasional martini with friends. Georgette was twice widowed. She was married to Louis J Dragony for 51 years and her second husband Lewis Morris for 6 years.
She is survived by her beloved children David Dragony, Barbara Dragony-Quinn (Paul R Quinn), Mary Tolaro (the late John), grandmother of, Alicia Quinn, Christine Quinn (Christian), and Emily Sebai (Rami); loving grandchildren Alicia Quinn, Christine Quinn (Christian), and Emily Sebai (Rami); cherished great-grandchildren Layla Quinn, Christian Dumontet and Mazin Sebai; dear sister of Maryann Johnson, Frank Spisak.
She is preceded by her beloved husbands Louis John Dragony, Jr. and Lewis J Morris; loving son Louis John Dragony III and dear sister Viola Horvath.
Funeral service will be held at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Rd. Avon Lake, at 11am, on Friday, June 17. Friends may call the hour prior from 10-11. Burial will follow at All Souls, Chardon. www.buschcares.com 440.933.3202
