Gary A. Merkle, age 68. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Yankura). Dear father of Todd Kimmell, Tracy Baker (Darren Mann). Loving grandfather of Quinnen Baker, Michael Kimmell (Constance), Kaylie Hampton (Shawn), Alex Kimmell (Kenidy), Wesley. Great grandfather of Hadley, Conley, Kingsley, Lachlan, Jamison and Rory. Dear brother of Karen Merkle, Christine Dedrick, Robert Merkle (Trina) and Alice Scibbe (Rick). Son of the late Earl and Dolores. Gary retired from Parma UH Medical Center after 44 years. He was an avid Cleveland sports fan. Passed away Wednesday May 11, 2022. In lieu of flowers memorials may be forwarded to the American Heart Association, 1375 E 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 44114. Funeral service will be at the funeral home Wednesday May 18 at 10:30am. Interment Woodvale Cemetery.
