Eugene W. Connor

Eugene W. Connor, age 90 of North Royalton, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023. Beloved husband of Harriet (nee Miley) for 63 years; loving father of Corinne Connor, Joseph (John Shepler), and Kelly Petty (Keith); devoted grandfather of Smith and Benjamin Connor; cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by his brother, William (Bette, deceased).

Eugene was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, serving as a paratrooper. He earned his CPA in 1966 and eventually retired as Executive V.P. and Chief Operating Officer of Bicron. In retirement, Eugene loved road trips with Harriet as well as many cruises to Europe and around South America. Eugene enjoyed golf, photography, Cleveland baseball, antique cars, and horse racing.

Prayer service at 10am on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the BABITT-BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 9350 Ridge Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133 with procession to Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH. Family will receive friends from 4-6pm on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the funeral home.
