EDWARD C. SISSON (EDDIE), 79, of Avon Lake, Ohio passed peacefully in his sleep on January 8, 2022 at his residence. He was born on May 3rd, 1942 to David Sisson and Angeline DeCarlo (nee Solomon), in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Eddie graduated from West Technical High School, in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1960, where he participated in baseball and debate. He was also voted Most Talkative. He married Janet L. Orr on August 25th, 1962 and they had three daughters. In 2008, he married Linda New.
Eddie was a lifelong entrepreneur, owning and operating several successful businesses until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, sports and music but his greatest love was his family, especially, his grandchildren. A devoted, husband, father, grandfather, brother and cousin, Eddie had a zest and zeal for life that was infectious.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (nee New); loving daughters Tyra Taylor (Patrick), Tiffany Weston (Steven) and Tru Pace (Michael); Linda's daughter Andrea Banks (Tony); cherished grandchildren Blake Taylor, Evan Taylor, London Weston, Jake Weston, Lola Weston, Ava Pace, Michael Pace, Mallory Pace and Anthony Banks.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday, January 14th, 2022 from 10:30am-12:30am at Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake, OH 44012 with a celebrant-led Memorial Service/Celebration of Life beginning at 12:30pm. A luncheon will follow at Parker's Grille and Tavern, located at 32858 Walker Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012. Masks will be required regardless of vaccination status.
