Dorothy M. Vala

Dorothy M. Vala, 94, of Bay Village, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022. She was born September 14, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Henry and Stella Klich (nee Stachowiak) Eizember.

Dorothy was a devout Catholic and a devoted wife. She was a wonderful mom and grandma, and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and had a big, contagious smile that always seemed to light up a room.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory two loving sons Michael Vala (Katie) and Timothy Vala (Barbara); cherished grandchildren Michael Vala, Jr. (Candace), Jenny Vala, Danielle Scott (Julian), Jason Vala (Kelly), Nicolette Tilow (Conor), Timothy Vala, Jr., Taylor Vala, Michael Vala (Amber), Jillian Vala, and Alyse Vala; beloved great grandchildren Wesley, Aiden, Miles, Hadley, Johanna, Caden and Natalie. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Vala.

Friends and family may call Saturday, March 19, 2022 for a visitation beginning at 9:30am until prayers at 10:30am at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 6750 State Road, Parma. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
