Doris Amolsch

Doris M. Amolsch (nee Hauenstein) of Avon Lake, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the age of 93 after a short illness. Doris moved to Avon Lake in 1952 and was employed at as a "lunch lady" at Erieview School prior to her retirement from the Avon Lake school system.

Survivors include her children Susan Anderson (Donald) of Louisville, KY, George M. (Lesley) of Avon Lake, Deborah Stibich (David) of Avon Lake, Kathryn Thogmartin (TL) of Avon Lake, and Janet Schnaufer (Ronald) Of Cape Coral, FL, and her sister Ruth Wiemer. Doris was the loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, George F.; father Otto; mother Margaret; and sister Marion Galla.

A special thank you to Mariana's Adult Care Center of Avon Lake, OH for the compassionate and loving attention they provided for our mom over the last 2 years.
