David Edward Wilcox

David E. Wilcox, age 93, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022. Beloved husband of 68 years of Clara (nee Armstrong); loving father of Beth Campbell (Chuck) and David Wilcox (Karin); dearest grandfather of Ian (deceased) and Sean Campbell, and Koby, David and Daniel Wilcox; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret (nee Metz) Wilcox, and his brother, Frank.

David was a veteran of WWII, serving in the First Infantry Division of the US Army. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, class of 1952, where he was a member of the Pitt Marching Band. David worked for Castcon Stone and Ford Motors before retiring from J&L/LTV Steel after 30 years of service.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Triune Lutheran Church, 4810 W. Mill Rd., Broadview Hts., OH 44147.

Funeral service will be Monday, Aug. 1 at 10am at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma. Private interment will be at Mt. Royal Cemetery Park, Glenshaw, PA. Visitation will be Sunday, July 31 from 3-6pm at the funeral home.
