Casimir "Casey" Roszak, age 94, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2022.
Beloved husband of 57 years of the late Elizabeth (nee Tossenberger); loving father of Jim (Joyce Robertson), Chuck (Lynn), Sue Hamm (Paul), Ken (Judi) and Paul (Annette); dearest grandfather of Jackie Dadich (Mike), Kristy Roszak, Erik (Kristen), Joshua Hamm (Esther), Alysha Delaney (Rick), Eric (Kelly), Jonathan (Jackie), Danielle Hamm, Kyle (Kristina), and Julia Hominsky (Frank); dear great-grandfather of fifteen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Stella (nee Dybzinski) Roszak, and a sister, Florence Williams.
Casey had worked for the Erie Railroad for several years, and had last worked as a ticket agent at the Lee and Miles Shaker Hts. Station. He then worked as a police officer for the City of Cleveland for 29 years, retiring in 1985, and was a member of the F.O.P. Lodge #8. He was also a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in N. Royalton. He had served as a baseball and softball umpire for the City of Parma for over 50 years, and had once been honored as Umpire of the Year. He was an avid golfer, continuing to enjoy the sport until shortly before his death. Casey also a model train hobbyist.

A prayer service will be held Mon., Dec. 5, 2022 at 10:45am at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129, and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30am at St. Albert the Great Church, 6667 Wallings Rd., N. Royalton, OH 44133. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, OH.
Family will receive friends on Sun., Dec. 4, 2022 from 4:00-9:00pm at the funeral home.
