Carl W. "Bud" Haag, Jr., 85, of Avon Lake, Ohio passed away Friday, December 31, 2021. He was born November 14, 1936 in Avon Lake, Ohio to parents Carl and Mary (nee Rebich) Haag.
Bud was a proud veteran having service in the US Army and Army Reserve. He also served proudly as a Patrolman with the Avon Police Department for 30 years. He enjoyed camping, spending the winter in Myrtle Beach with his wife and had a love for animals and nature. Above all, Bud loved and was devoted to his family.
Bud is survived by his beloved wife of almost 55 years Barb (nee Becker) Haag; brother, Richard, sister, Rosemary and sister-in-law, Jan Becker; beloved nieces and nephews Kaitlin Haag, Kelley Ann (Barney) Fay, Heather Haag, Michael (Joanie) Haag, Keith Haag, Christopher Haag, Matthew Haag, Christopher (Kerry) Becker, and Brian (Danielle) Becker. He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Mary (nee Rebich) Haag; Barb's parents Gerhard and Mildred (Bauers) Becker; and brother-in-law Garry Becker.
