Bessie Nemeth

Bessie Sue Nemeth "Sue" (nee Jones), 80, of Lorain, formerly of Elyria; passed peacefully away at home on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Sue was born May 12, 1942, in Sanderson, WV to Cirby L. and Edithe L. (nee Perkins) Jones.

Sue retired from Sprenger Nursing Home in Amherst after more than 10 years as a nurse's aide (STNA). She was a faithful member of the West Ridge Baptist Church and the Eagles Club where she was a past president of the Women's Auxiliary.

Sue enjoyed kicking up her heels in square dancing.

Family members left to cherish Sue's memories are her children Deborah (Steven) Porter of Lorain, Danny (Jeanne) Haid of Lorain and James (Vickie) Haid of WA.; sister Dorothy (Danny) Morris of Elyria; 7 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her first husband John Haid and second husband John Nemeth, grandson Will Schramm, and brothers Charles, Joseph, Jeff, Bill, Marlin and Sherman Jones, and sisters Martha Wagner, Marie Barrone, Wilma Rahum and Alice Pritt.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 5pm-7pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7pm at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME 114 Second Ave., Elyria. Pastor Tony Mannon will officiate.
