Bernice I Linn

Bernice Irene Linn (nee Perine), 89 of Dinwiddie, VA, formerly of Sheffield Lake, OH peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born July 11, 1932 to parents Ruben and Mabel (nee Brown) Perine in Gassaway, WV.

Bernice married the love of her life on March 2, 1957, in Lakewood. They were happy together for 62 years and raised a wonderful family together. She was employed as a receptionist; was actively involved at St. Thomas Church of Sheffield Lake, OH as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, PSR instructor and was an avid reader of mystery novels.

She is survived by her daughters, Diana Contreras (Maximo) of Laredo, TX., Sandra Feliciano (Pedro) of Lorain, OH.; sons, Christopher (Judy) of Dinwiddie County, VA, and Patrick (Terri) of Manchester, MO; daughter-in-law Nadine Linn of Middleburg Heights, OH; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Theodore V. Linn; son Michael; and brothers Walter and Arthur Perine.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. Mass will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 715 Harris Rd., Sheffield Lake 44054. Meet at church.
