Ashley Trefero, 32 of Avon, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was born September 24, 1989 in Cleveland, OH to parents Rebecca DiCapua and John "Mike" Trefero.
Ashley grew up in Avon Lake and was a 2007 graduate of Avon Lake High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University. Ashley was a huge Yankee's fan and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed gardening vegetables, line dancing, all music especially country music, and kickboxing at "Title Boxing" in Westlake. She took a holistic approach to life, from her health to fitness and nutrition. Ashley was an Integrated Health Practitioner (IHP). Ashley's signature was hummingbirds and she incorporated them into her life and work whenever she could. But her true joy came from loving and spending time with her son Christopher, he was her whole world. She loved her family dearly.
Ashley is survived by her beloved son, Christopher Morahan, Jr.; loving parents Rebecca DiCapua and John Trefero; loving partner Christopher Morahan; dear grandparents Carol and Richard McDonald, William DiCapua, Sr. and Janet Trefero; dear uncles William DiCapua, Jr. (Lisa) and Marcus DiCapua (Kimberly); dear cousins Kyle (Marissa), McKenna, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Kate and Samuel; other close family including Michael Morahan, Sr., Kelly Morahan (passed) and Michael Morahan, Jr.; dear friends Clare, Leah, Ian, Ashley, Azure, and Haley and many other friends that loved her.

Friends and family may call for a visitation on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm at Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. Mass will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church 32946 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. Burial to follow at St Joseph Cemetery.
